Our Commitments
How ?
Although we would have liked to produce our rain capes in France, the reality of the market led us to a choice that was both technical and economic, given the equipment needed to assemble our rain capes (particularly the waterproofing of the seams using heat-sealed strips and the heat-sealed seams at the hood).
We have therefore decided to focus on:
Eco-responsible materials using recycled and/or organic materials.
The recycled polyester fabric used for the rain capes complies with GRS (Global Recycled Standard, certified by Control Union).
Our range of T-shirts and sweaters are GOT compliant (Global Organic Textile certified by Control Union).
Did you know? Using recycled materials reduces CO2 emissions by 33%, water consumption by 90% and energy consumption by 66% compared to traditional manufacturing.
Ethical production
Having spent 7 years in China and developed trusting relationships with reliable suppliers, it was only natural that we chose to produce our first collection in a workshop near Shanghai, certified BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative). BSCI accreditation aims to guarantee workers' rights, and covers the following key concepts:
-Social responsibility policies
-Freedom of association
-Working hours and overtime
-Non-discrimination
-The prohibition of child labor and forced labor
-Special protection of young workers
-Payment of a minimum wage
-Measures to ensure health and safety in the workplace
-Environmental protection
Our range of T-shirts and sweaters has the Fair Wear label, an international initiative that aims to monitor good working conditions in the textile sector. The reflective screen prints and embroidery on the chest are made in a partner workshop in Bordeaux.
Our T-shirts and sweaters are also OEKO-TEX, a quality label comprising several technical standards, aimed at certifying the health and ecological qualities of textiles and leathers, guaranteeing the absence of toxic products for the body and the environment.
